Miller sees truth as everything that is said, whether is it is lie or the actual truth. Miller believes that there isn’t a need for factual evidence to back up truth; it is just the words that come out of a person’s mouth. It is the person’s form of truth, however they perceive it.
Frankfurt defines truth as factual evidence. A lie is a lie, and there is no way around that. A truth is a truth, and there is no way around that. Frankfurt says that lying is bad because it can eventually become your reality, and then your memories and life become one large lie. Unlike Miller, Frankfurt sees truth as factual evidence; a person must have facts to back up their truth, not just how they perceive it.
